Welcome to the IntoFactories.NET team blog! What’s all this you might be wondering?
Well, it was just a little while ago that we decided to focus on “this” Software factories concept; What they really are? How and where we can use them?
Next, add some curiosity regarding Domain-Driven Design (DDD) to it and you find yourself reading this post.
So, what can you expect to find here?
We have no idea where all this is going, but we do have these things in mind:
- Blog regularly about factories and DDD
- Explore concepts related to factory construction like solution structures, artifact templates, etc.
- Gather best practices and how to’s
- And much more
Well, enough said…time for some action!

Hi compuwariors,
Nice initiative. Factories is the hot topic for 2008 in .NET Development. I hope you (and the whole IT industry) will succeed in changing the way we write code and automate the plumbing work.
I’ll be checking this site regularly.
Happy blogging,

Hi there,
An interesting concept in a blog and something I am interested in…but I am still missing a definitive definition. What is a software factory?
I like DDD and am trying to implement it in what I do, which is how I cam across your blog.

Hey Richard, the answer to your question is worthy of a separate post!
So in the next factory post, I’ll provide some known factory definitions and will try to find the lowest common denominator.
